Sadik Kwaish Alfraji will lead an art workshop at the British Museum on Saturday, 22 April from 11 to 4 pm.
This event is open to the public, and coincides with the museum’s current exhibition, Moving stories: three journeys which includes a selection of works from Alfraji’s Ali’s Boat series. The Netherlands-based Iraqi artist will assist participants as they create their own drawings or stories relating to the themes of migration, exile, and loss that are visible in the series. The artist will incorporate the resulting artworks into a future piece.
