Moustafa Fathi Syria, 1942-2009

Ayyam Gallery is pleased to present 10:52, a collective exhibition that commemorates the tenth anniversary of its founding. Highlighting all fifty-two artists who have had solo shows at its different locations in the past decade, this selection of works reflects Ayyam Gallery’s evolution as one of the leading art spaces in the Middle East and North Africa.

Ayyam Gallery Dubai (Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz) is pleased to present Towards the Absolute of Nature, a large-scale survey of work by the late Moustafa Fathi. Organised under Ayyam Gallery’s custodianship, the exhibition serves as the first posthumous retrospective of the pioneering Syrian painter.

From August 26 to September 13, Ayyam Gallery DIFC will present a special preseason pop up exhibition, 'Buried in Tradition' for late Syrian artist Moustafa Fathi.

On March 9, 2010, Ayyam gallery Dubai will proudly present a solo show in memoriam for the late Syrian painter Moustafa Fathi (1942-2009). Featuring two decades of Fathi’s work and accompanied by a recently published monograph on the artist, the exhibition will underscore the importance of one of Syria’s most influential contemporary pioneers.

From December 11, 2008 until January 8, 2009, Ayyam Gallery-Dubai will proudly present three exhibitions featuring some of Syria’s leading contemporary artists.
