Ayyam Gallery Beirut is pleased to present Apertures, a collective exhibition that brings together diverse painters. Featuring the works of Asaad Arabi, Mouteea Murad, Oussama Diab, Kais Salman, and Tammam Azzam, this thematic show highlights works that, despite addressing a range of subject matter, use meticulous divisions of space, particularly openings or compartments, in order to describe the underlying psychology of hidden realms or laden spaces.

Ayyam Gallery Beirut is pleased to present What Happened Here, the solo show of Palestinian-Syrian artist Oussama Diab. Alongside the artist’s latest paintings, the exhibition features selected drawings, mixed-media collages, and preparatory sketches that demonstrate how his new series has progressed with recurring symbols and a cohesive narrative. In recent years Diab has developed a neo-cubist painting style as part of a broader theoretical project that explores the aesthetic potential and relevance of historical precedents. With a postmodern approach, Diab depicts the increasingly fragmentary state of global society as political conflicts tear apart communities, and forced migration and displacement burden the everyday.

Ayyam Gallery is pleased to present Contemporary Uprising: Art from the Middle East, a collective exhibition of ten renowned artists from Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia, from the 21 to 25 May 2014 at Nest Gallery in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ayyam Gallery Jeddah is pleased to present Contemporary Arabia, a multimedia exhibition featuring a selection of established and emerging Arab artists, including Samia Halaby, Tammam Azzam, and Shaweesh, to be held 5 May until 7 June 2014.

From September 17 until October 30, Ayyam Gallery DIFC is pleased to present a solo exhibition of Palestinian artist, Oussama Diab. ‘In the Name of Freedom’ will feature a selection of his latest paintings. Oussama Diab’s exciting Pop and graffiti-inspired expressionistic canvases employ symbolist interpretations of current events and concerns. Candor, yet playful, this juxtaposition reflects a duality prominent in all of Diab’s work.

On September 6 Ayyam Gallery Damascus will proudly present the exhibition 2012.
