Shurooq Amin was included in this year’s GCC Women Leaders Listing by World Brand Congress (WBC), who will be holding their GCC edition in Dubai this October. Gathering the world’s brand and marketing elite, each edition of the WBC also honours the region’s top women leaders for outstanding achievements in their respective fields. Amin, who is internationally recognised as an activist for social reform and improved rights for women, will be part of several panel discussions.
Shurooq Amin will also be speaking at the 18th Global Women in Leadership (WIL) Economic Forum organised by Naseba. Taking place in Dubai on 24 and 25 October, the event will bring together 500 global business leaders with the aim to share life stories and promote women’s economic empowerment. On 25 October, Amin will talk about her experience as a female artist in the gulf and what obstacles and rewards her career has entailed until today.
