Khaled Jarrar has been awarded a grant by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) for his film Displaced in Heaven, a documentary that follows an exiled Palestinian family fleeing Syria.
AFAC announced a selection of 28 new film projects to receive grants in its 2017 General Grants program for Cinema. Jarrar was selected from more than three hundred entries, and is awarded amongst other filmmakers like Larissa Sansour and Roy Dib.
