Sadik Alfraji, Sama Alshaibi, Tammam Azzam and Rula Halawani will be participating in the exhibition Tribe: Contemporary Photography from the Arab World at the Katzen Arts Center in the American University Museum in Washington, D.C., USA from 10 November to 16 December, 2018.
Tribe Magazine, a magazine with the exclusive goal of promoting Arab talents world wide, highlight with this exhibition a selection of artists published within the eight editions of Tribe. Alshaibi and Halawani, who have been featured previously will be exhibited alongside internationally acclaimed and emerging artists. Being the magazine’s first exhibition, Tribe: Contemporary Photography from the Arab World engages the work of artists from various countries of the Arab league, showing the diversity of concept and artistic approach, while being one of the largest surveys of Arab photography presented internationally.
