We are pleased to share that Tammam Azzam's works are featured in the duo exhibition Fragile States of Being curated by Anabel Roque Rodríguez at the Yvonne Hohner Contemporary.
Fragile States of Being deals with the experience of migration and how the moment of fragility becomes a kind of modus operandi. Living under the premise of constant adaptation means living in fragility. Individuals who have to place themselves anew in relation become themselves a fragment that has to place itself anew in a larger structure. The exhibition wants to show how individually people deal with the consequences of fragility, because fragility is also always a reminder of what was, of what is and of what could have been.
