Sharooq Amin will be participating in Intersections of Art and Literature, a conference to be held at the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento from 15-17 October 2014. The conference will examine the intrinsic relationship between the visual arts and literature in modern times and throughout history. The artist will be speaking at the Interdisciplinary Gender Studies of the University of Trento on 15 October and at the SEMPER Conference on Ekphrasis by the Department of Literature and Philosophy at the University of Trento on October 16th. Amin will also speak at the Liceo Quadri in Vicenza on 18 October .
